Queens Apartment (2025)
Beautiful space but had just a little too much blank walls, and also a bit cluttered in the kitchen. Solution was some wall shelves to break up the main living room wall (and have a projector stand), build a bookshelf/side table/wall shelf in the living room/bedroom for more storage options. Reorganized kitchen counter and stack oven/microwave to open up counter space.
Apartment (2025)
Our home for 2 years. Challenge was to make enough space for two desks while maintaining a comfortable living space. Replaced a dining table with bar chairs and different surface options for eating in the living room. Multiple lamps to make up for the lack of overhead lighting, which was sparse in the entire apartment.Â
Living Room (2024)
Goal was to declutter the space and improve lighting. Added a plant to add texture and color to contrast neutral tones. Removed clutter into closets and designated storage spaces which opened up a walking space (bottom right). Switch the side table to one that can accommodate the awkard space that the curtain takes up but also compliment wood tones.
Bedroom (2010)
Repainted the wall to a brighter and neutral color to contrast the dark wood furniture. The neutral tones made the space feel more mature, and was better for focus since it became my office space as well. The desk upgrade was necessary since it eliminated the file cabinet which created an underutilized space and made the important space much larger and comfortable to work on. The vinyl display was great as wall art, and the tall shelf provided ample storage.
